Viet Nam NPAP and EPPIC (Ending Plastic Pollution Innovation Challenge) of UNDP Viet Nam have promoted sustainable tourism by improving the use of environmentally friendly products and called for more effective innovations in reducing plastic waste in coastal areas through an EPPIC week in Ha Long City. The EPPIC week included an activity series, starting with the workshop “Promoting the use of environmentally friendly products towards sustainable tourism development” on 13 June 2023. The opening event attracted about 60 participants from the Quang Ninh government and boat and restaurant owners to join the discussion about good practices for no-plastic-waste tourism and better services using environmentally friendly products for a clean and green Ha Long.
