Brief Innovation

The project aimed to pilot innovative, low-cost technology measures in combination with social solutions to enhance the waste management along rivers and at estuaries The project supports the local government to develop more effective solid waste management practicesand reduce plastic waste pollution of the waterways in the region – particularly the Red River. It provides technical assistance to governmental authorities and raises community awareness, directly targeting 109,000 people whose livelihoods and health depend on the rivers and the sea.
