The project aims to:
• Develop a model for a national database on tracking marine debris, specific to Vietnam and compatible with international marine debris tracking systems.
• Develop tools and guidance on the classification and coding of marine plastic debris for the national database.
• Develop guide on sharing of database information with internal and external users, consistent with international standard operating protocols.
Expected Results:
Increased GoV’s capacity to manage marine debris.
